Virginia-Highland Church is dedicated to welcoming everyone, which includes children of all ages and from all types of families. We believe that a vital children’s ministry is an integral part of fulfilling our mission to Do Justice, Love Mercy, and Walk Humbly.
Our nursery is located through the doors to the right at the front of the sanctuary and across the hall. Our childcare ctaff will welcome you and your children at the door there.
Not sure how to find our nursery? Ask any greeter at the front door, and they’ll be happy to guide you. We invite you to pick up your children before Communion, so they may partake with you.
Children in kindergarten and up are encouraged to stay and participate in worship
We provide worship engagement bags for kids to use, complete with coloring and items to play with as they pray and sing.
Following the Children’s Message, children are invited to follow the children’s ministry leaders through the doors on the left of the front of the sanctuary for an age-appropriate Bible lesson exploring the day’s scriptures. Children will return to the sanctuary before communion so that they may partake with their families.
